First Class ticket holders will be offered an at-seat service of snacks and drinks, and depending on the time of day either breakfast, lunch, or dinner

Portions are currently generous

The staff are extremely attentive and helpful, helped by the smaller segregated First Class area

However, be advised the coaching stock standard is temporary until refurbished, so don’t let that put you off as the staff more than make up for it

The journey itself is not particularly fast, but it is still quicker than other non-direct services

 

It is for these reasons, Wrexham & Shropshire has earned our Commended Service Award of 2009
