On some services a Weekend First allows you to upgrade to First Class at weekends and Public Holidays

You can upgrade to Weekend First at any time before you board the train
In some cases this is not possible if you hold an Advance ticket, but may be purchased on board subject to seats being available


A - Not available on trains, but is available at stations
B - Limited to Premier Service, see Arriva Trains Wales for full details
C - Limited to Mainline Service, see Chiltern Railways for full details
D - Limited to parts of routes, see Cross Country for full details
E - Passengers can present their First Class ticket at the Cafe Bar on selected services and routes (at-seat service not available)


At Weekends and on Public Holidays at-seat service may not be available, but in most cases drinks and snacks can be obtained either from the trolley or buffet
